Obituary for Diane S. Faust
Funeral service for Diane S. Faust (nee Krause), 73, of Mentor will be 11 a.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2) Mentor. Father Tim Plavac will officiate at the service.
Diane passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at her home with her daughter and granddaughter and friend, Charlotte, at her side.
Born Sept. 9, 1943 in Cleveland, she had been a Lake County resident for 73 years, living in Mentor.
Diane worked at Dalton’s in Willoughby, Namco Mfg. (in Mentor) and Kavarner Metals in Willoughby.
She was a former member of St. Bede’s Church in Mentor, an avid “garage saler”, enjoyed being a fixer upper and arranging flowers. She loved all animals and loved her dog, Oscar.
Diane was the loving mother of Lori Faust of Mentor; cherished grandmother of Tricia Faust (Danny Bishop, fiancé) of Cincinnati; sister of David (Ursula) Krause of Springhill, FL; sister-in-law of Carol Faust of Mentor; also survived by friends, Charlotte and Gail and many friends and family relatives.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Faust; son, Robert J. Faust; and parents, Ralph and Caroline (nee Kotnik) Krause.
Family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mentor Cemetery.
