Obituary for Thomas P Lawlor

Celebration of Life services for Thomas P. Lawlor, 75, of Willoughby, will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
Mr. Lawlor passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at his residence.
Born Jan. 5, 1942, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime Lake County resident.
Tom was a U.S. Army veteran, lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 1500 in Willoughby and an avid dog trainer.
Mr. Lawlor was a retired officer from the Willoughby Police Department, retiring in 1991, after 28 years of service.
Tom was the loving father of Scott A. (Cathy) Lawlor and Seann P. (Debbie) Lawlor; and cherished grandfather of Mason, Brendan, Alex and Jacob. He also leaves his brothers, Mickey of California, Dennis of Arizona and Charles of Cleveland; and sisters, Kathy of Strongsville and Pat of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Coletta (nee Schmitt) Lawlor.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby. Burial will be private.
