Obituary for Robert P Fishwick

Robert P. Fishwick, aged 67, passed away unexpectedly January 30, 2017.
Bob, currently of Beaufort, S.C., was the youngest of four boys who grew up in Willoughby, sons of the late Paul and Louise (nee Hurley) Fishwick.
Affectionately called “Uncle Bob” within the family and beyond, he was always the gentle giant with a big heart and a ready song. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Bob worked on oil rigs in Ohio before taking his family south, where he supervised road and bridge construction on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Throughout, Bob also played music professionally and entertained many with his rich voice and stylish guitar.
The loss to his much cherished daughters, Ginny (Jud) Drinker and Jessica (Scott) Martin; and grandchildren, Eliza and Rowan Drinker of Charleston, S.C. is immeasurable. Bob will also be greatly missed by his surviving brothers and golf partners, David (Gretchen), Steve (Kate), and Dan (Carol) Fishwick.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob’s life with song and memories from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, February 4, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
