Obituary for Hattie Ann Troha

Private family services will be held for Hattie A. (nee Hochevar) Troha, 86, of Madison.
Mrs. Troha passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, at Heartland of Mentor.
Born July 26, 1930, in Cleveland, she had lived in Cleveland before moving to Lake County three years ago.
Hattie was a member of A.M.L.A. and S.N.P.J. She also enjoyed crocheting blankets for her family.
Mrs. Troha retired from the General Electric Nela Park Lamp Division.
She was the loving mother of Barbara (nee Robert) Evatz; cherished grandmother of Sue Evatz, Roberta (Andrew) Scheibel and Mike (Janis) Evatz; great-grandmother of Seth Carn, Colton, Cora and Connor Scheibel and Justina and Jacob Evatz; sister of Polly Cook, Edna Johnson, Rudolph Hochevar, Rose (John) Gadus and Albert (Mai) Hochevar; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Hattie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jacob Troha; parents, Rudolph and Hattie (nee Kutchinsky) Hochevar; and siblings, John Smoker and Adolph Hochevar.
The family suggest contributions in her name be made to Heartland Hospice, 4807 Rockside Road, Suite 110, Independence, OH 44131, or Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309, for breast cancer research.
