Obituary for Michael T Gamber

Funeral Mass for Michael T. Gamber, 72, of Cleveland, will be 9:30 a.m. Friday Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby . Fr. Timothy Kalista will officiate the Mass.
Mr. Gamber passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
He was born Feb. 23, 1944, in Cleveland.
Mike was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea and Germany and a member of American Legion Post 678 in Willowick. He loved photography, sailing and music, was a musician for many years and a HAM operator.
Mike was the beloved husband of 50 years to Mary J. (nee Main) Gamber; loving father of Michael (Amy) Gamber and Amy (Rich) Gezann; cherished grandfather of Kayla and Ryan; brother of George L. (Connie) Gamber; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Michael Gamber; and parents, Michael J. and Marie R. (nee Tumbry) Gamber.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
