Phillip C. Baker, 67, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at his residence with his family at his side.
Born June 12, 1949, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Mr. Baker was an employee of Orkin for 25 years, retiring in January 2016.
He loved his grandkids and dancing.
He was the beloved husband of 12 years to Kathleen M. (nee Lang) Baker; loving father of Jennifer C. (Earl) Robinson, David W. Eschbaugh, Steven (Kim) Baker, Melissa Baker, Roxanne Hammond and Caitlin (Jack) Sherwood; grandfather of eight; son of Norma (nee Gill) Baker; brother of Susan (John) Rheal; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Charles Thomas Baker.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, where a Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 24. Burial will be private.
