Joseph Thomas Maldonado, 83, of Chardon Township, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, at his residence in Chardon Township.
He was born June 10, 1932, in Monessen, Pa.
Mr. Maldonado was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, loved Cleveland sports and adored his grandchildren.
Joseph was the father of Joelle K. Maldonado (Dan Finkle) of Chardon Township and Jeff E. Maldonado of Willoughby Hills; grandfather of Jordyn, Jade, Olivia, Maddox and Madeline; brother of Mary; and uncle of many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Socorro and Jovita (nee Martinez) Maldonado; and siblings, Anthony, Joan and Sarah.
Burial will be held in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
