Private services will be held at a later date for Richard C. Bowden Jr., 77, of Painesville.
Mr. Bowden passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 at LakeMed Nursing Facility in Painesville Township.
Born July 26, 1938, in Painesville, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Richard was a resident of LakeMed in Painesville Township for 13 years, and was affectionately known as “The Piano Man.” He loved playing the piano for various churches and nursing home. He also enjoyed bowling and was a former member of the various Barbershop Quartets.
He was the loving brother of Christopher E. (Winona, nee Moody) Bowden of Madison; uncle of Charles E. (Teri) Bowden and Christine E. Bowden; and great-uncle of Charli Ann Bowden, Cody Wayne Bowden and Kyle Cahn.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Richard C. Sr. and Harriet (nee Sanford) Bowden.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
