Mark K. Maio, 57, of Painesville, passed away Aug. 18, 2015, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born June 21, 1958, in Painesville, he had been a Lake County resident for the past 10 years.
He was the loving brother of Mary Jane Maio-Sangdahl, Monica Maio Gallagher, Shelly Maio and Marcy Maio Vanwinkle; stepson of Keith Alvarez; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys (nee Steward) Alavarez; and brother, Michael Maio.
Mark will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Private family services will be held.
