Obituary for John M Pavlik

Funeral Mass for John M. Pavlik, 69, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mr. Pavlik passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015, at his residence.
Born Sept. 14, 1945, in Indiana, Pa., he had been a Lake County resident for 40 year, living in Mentor.
He was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, Cleveland Transportation Club and a former trustee of The Andrew’s School for Girls. John was also a U.S. Navy veteran and an avid sports fan. He was a season ticket holder for the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Loretta F. “Lorry” (nee Umek) Pavlik; loving father of Kristin F. (Mark) Lonczak of Weymouth, Mass., and Kevin J. (Michelle) Pavlik of Pickerington; cherished grandfather of Brogan, Ellary, Evaline and Aubrey; brother of Robert (Zeoda) Pavlik of Yorba Linda, Calif.; and uncle of John and Kimmy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen (nee Schmelhaus) Pavlik.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be private.
