Obituary for Frank Gallo

Celebration of Life Services for Frank Gallo, 87, of Mentor, will be 7 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Mr. Gallo passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born June 16, 1928, in Canonsburg, Pa., he had been a Lake County resident for 48 years, living in Willowick before moving to Mentor.
He enjoyed playing softball and watching sports.
Mr. Gallo was a former employee of Reliance Electric, where he had worked as a lab technician.
He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Eleanor C. (nee Neuman) Gallo; loving father of Judy L. (Donald) Jantonio, Sandra J. Gallo and Paul R. (Cynthia) Gallo; cherished grandfather of Don, Greg, Michelle, Sharon, Heather, Kate and Anthony; great-grandfather of Avery, Genna, Annabelle and Alexander; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Anna (nee Martin) Gallo; two sisters and three brothers.
Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
