Obituary for June E Hurley

Memorial services for June E. (nee Newell) Hurley, 87, of North Olmsted, will be 7:30 p.m. Monday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
Mrs. Hurley passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon with her family at her side.
Born June 23, 1927, in Ashtabula, she had lived in Lake County for 40 years before moving to Lorain County four years ago.
She was the loving mother of Michael Hurley in North Ridgeville, Monica Hurley of Greenwood, Ark., Cynthia Mavar of Eastlake, Mary (John) Nemanic of Mentor and Amy Stander of Hamilton; cherished grandmother of Tracey, Jim, Maureen, Ed, Mike, Ian, Sondra, Nicole, Sarah, Emily, Adam and Evelyn; great-grandmother of nine; sister of Gerald (Chris) Michaelis and Kenneth (Carol) Niemi; and sister-in-law of Delta Newell.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas P. Hurley; parents, Elmer and Marie (nee Luce) Newell; brother, Elmer Newell; daughter-in-law, Pennie Hurley; and sons-in-law, Stephen Mavar and Jimmy Harvey.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at The Abbey of Willoughby. Burial will be private.
