Funeral Mass for Sandra M. (nee Petrecca) LaPenta, 75, of Willoughby and The Villages, Fla., will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at the church.)
Mrs. LaPenta passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Pine Valley Care Center in Richfield.
Born May 20, 1939, in Cleveland, she had been a longtime resident of Willoughby and The Villages, Fla.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, where she was a former member of the Oktoberfest Committee at the church. She was also a member of Willoughby Eagles Aerie 2300 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was the loving mother of Angela (Larry) Battaglia, Tina (Don) Minidis and Albert (Lisa) LaPenta; cherished grandmother of Matthew, Anthony (Erica), Julie, Joseph, Peter, Michael and Andrew; and great-grandmother of Rocco.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Rocco LaPenta in 2011; and parents, Anthony B. and Angela (nee Cirino) Petrecca.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
